Senior Level 
Audit, Oversight, Evaluation, and Inspection Professionals

The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of International Organization Affairs, is looking for qualified Audit, Oversight, Evaluation and Inspection professionals who would like to be considered as potential U.S. candidates for elected or appointed positions in international organizations like the United Nations. Resumes of professionals with 15+ years of experience in these career areas are specifically being sought at this time.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. Advanced accredited university degree in business administration, finance, accounting, audit, management, law, or equivalent professional qualification.
  2. Minimum of fifteen years progressively responsible experience in the field of accounting, audit, budget, finance, or human resources management.
  3. International experience in an international or intergovernmental organization, or a large international firm.
  4. Up-to-date knowledge of principles of modern management, administration, and computer skills
  5. Excellent communications skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals of different national and cultural backgrounds.
  6. Fluency in English and at least one other UN language (French, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, and Arabic) is preferred.
